Ethics & compliance
Ethics code
Ethics and corporate responsibility have a profound influence on the way companies manage their business. The manner in which an Ethics policy based on these principles is defined and implemented reflects the conviction of Thales - and therefore Thales Alenia Space - leadership team and the active engagement of all of its members. Acting with integrity and transparently is clearly of capital importance. The ethics policy laid out in this Code of Ethics contributes to the trust that Thales Alenia Space must maintain as a basis for their relationships with all of their stakeholders. We believe that our collective contribution to Thales Alenia Space’s reputation, performance and sustainability hinges on irreproachable conduct by all our employees.
The present Code of Ethics lays down the guidelines of behavior applicable within Thales but also Thales Alenia Space, towards employees, customers, suppliers, subcontractors and partners, shareholders, financial markets, as well as towards civil society as a whole.

Supplier integrity charter
The relationship between our Partners and Suppliers is an important component for building sustainable business success. As illustrated via this document initiated by Thales, Thales Alenia Space expects from its Partners and Suppliers full compliance with all applicable laws and regulations of the countries where they are registered, as well as where operations are managed or services provided. In this respect, the Partners and Suppliers Integrity & Corporate Responsibility Charter represents a minimum standard of best practice.
Code of conduct - Prevention of corruption and influence peddling
This Code, produced by Thales, provides a brief and simple description of the key issues around the prevention of corruption and influence peddling, and a set of recommendations to be followed in the various situations that Thales Alenia Space employees may encounter. It is supplemented by broader and more detailed instructions and guides to ethical business conduct in our reference system.
Committed to respecting the laws and ethical principles that regulate its activities, Thales has set up a "Thales Alert Line " alert platform to report any conduct or situation that does not comply with the Group's internal rules or with applicable laws and regulations.
To ensure our company complies with national and European law, and to help foster a culture of good ethical and legal conduct and integrity, we have set up suitable whistleblowing channels in accordance with the Legislative Decree of March 10, 2023, no. 24.
Whistleblowing allows any company employee or third party (supplier, customer, partner, consultant or anyone with legal ties to the company) to report, in confidence, any suspected breach of applicable legislation in relation to their activity.
The Communication to all personnel pursuant to art. 5, letter. e) of the Legislative Decree of March 10, 2023, no. 24 is available to read and download. It provides details about how to report a suspected breach. It also contains the relevant annexes:
A) Privacy information notice pursuant to Article 13 of (EU) Regulation no. 679/2016 – Annex A.
B) Operational guidelines for filing and handling whistleblowing reports – Annex B.
